Toads[edit]

Personality[edit]

Toad's share a halfing's happy go lucky attitude, and are tend to idolize heroes. they tend to get frightened and pannicked a bit easy but with the right motivation, many of them will step up to the plate to become heroes themselves, if only for a little while

Physical Description[edit]

Short and squat, sorta like a dwarf, however they have a mushroom top on their head. Their eyes are beady, and the men lack hair. Their mushroom tends to be one main color such as green, white or black while the dots on it are a contrasting color with red, blue and yellow being the most common. Facial hair is common with old age though they do not grow hair on their heads

Relations[edit]

Toads are allies to most species, save for goblins and at times, halfings. Toad's tend to butt heads with Goblins, due to their morality conflicts, and halfings, as they despise the halfing's tricks due to their normally lawful alignment

Alignment[edit]

Most toads are good, either Neutral Good, or Lawful Good. Some are Chaotic Good, and fewer are Lawful Neutral. Only a handful variate from the spectrum but it's not impossible.

Lands[edit]

Toad's live in Swamps, forests, and other areas of dense wilderness. Their villages often take advantage of their wilderness environment by having houses built into places of nature like trees, caves or fungi. They do often live in normal villages though with a distinct style to their houses having mushroom shaped roofs if possible.

Religion[edit]

Toad's follow many good gods, normally Lawful Good. A few worship other deities, usually Good or Lawful Neutral. Worship of Evil deities is almost unheard of, though it's not impossible.

Language[edit]

Common. However, Toads that live with other races tend to make some effort to learn their languages.

Names[edit]

Normally, Toads call themselves Toad, or Toadette for female toads. However, they can adopt new names, as they see fit.
