Your tongue becomes stretchy like that of an amphibian. For the duration, as an action on your turn, you can let your tongue lunge out at a target of one size larger than you or smaller within a range of 30 feet that you can see. If the target is a creature or an object being held by a creature, the target creature can make a Dexterity saving throw, or can willingly fail, on a failed save they become grappled by your tongue, or the item is disarmed and grappled by your tongue. While grappled by this spell, you can pull the target up to 15 feet closer to you as a bonus action or action on your turn. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the grapple early on a success.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd-Level or higher, the reach of the tongue increases by 30 feet for each spell slot level above 1st.
