How 'Bout This Heat? (Ex): Abbot Tjaerou is immune to heat effects from temperatures above 90º F (~32º C.)

Shotaiyou-ken (Ex): Abbot Tjaerou is able to execute a rising punch attack called the Shotaiyou-ken. While making a charge attack, he may choose to take an additonal -2 penalty to his AC to make an unarmed melee attack. The damage of the unarmed attack is doubled and the target of this attack must make a Fortitude save (DC 22) or be sent flying straight back 10 feet. This attack also sends Tjaerou into the air 5 feet for the duration of the attack. At the end of the round, he returns to the ground. If the target is an undead creature, the damage dealt from the Shotaiyou-ken is doubled again. The abbot may attempt this maneuver five times a day.

Once a soldier in the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II, Higeru Kawasaki was swept away during a kamikaze charge during the final minutes in the Battle of Saipan by the hand of Archmage Friday. When he awoke, he was in a new world being tended to by a red-haired elven woman in a temple of Pelor. That woman would become his closest friend Velassa. "Tjaerou"--an Elven mispronunciation of Higeru-- began to adventure with her out of gratitude, but soon became disillusioned with the wandering lifestyle. He began to see the folly of armed combat, and sought to meditate on his new ideas.
During his meditations, Pelor would come to mind. Then it struck him to incorporate the sun into his martial arts whilst becoming a follower of Pelor. Soon he and Velassa found themselves settling down near each other in the desert town of Cairn: she running an orphanage and Tjaerou founding and becoming the abbot of the temple of Pelor, where he teaches his new martial art--the Shotaiyou-ken (Rising Sun Fist) style.
