The throwing dirk is much like the dirk, but balanced for throwing. Although strikes made with a throwing dirk are less likely to be critical than a dirk, the throwing dirk can be throw twice as far than a dirk. You get a +2 bonus on Sleight of Hand checks made to conceal a throwing dirk on your body. Characters proficient with the dirk may treat it as a throwing knife for the purposes for the following feats: Greater Weapon Focus, Greater Weapon Specialization, Improved Critical, Weapon Focus, & Weapon Specialization.
