The Sun is the source of happiness and life. It refreshes the land and men in its amazing glow. The sun is the source of good and greatness. It shines for ages and rests when we do, it is like a never leaving companion. The sun is the source of fire and light. It is the shining example of perfection.
The sun is not like other Gods, it has no humanoid form. It is a giant ball of flame suspended eternally in the sky. It is the source of nourishment and life, be refreshed in its mighty glow. It is here to help at all costs, and makes every effort to shine upon the dark world we live in.
The proper way to show thanks to the sun is with a simple gesture know as, "Praise The Sun!" This gesture is done by placing your open hands just below your waist line, and bending the knees slightly. Proceed to rise slowly and pull your hands upward and out. Stand on your toes and make a perfect V with your hands, palms facing outward. Your head should slightly look up as well.
Temples of the sun are almost everywhere The Sun is needed most, or has already helped greatly. In decrepit and needy towns, in places of true peace, near vibrant farms, Ect. Temples of the sun are not closed within walls, and are more like landmarks than a temple. The temple consists of 4 marble pillars in a square of any size, to the far east and west sides of this temple are slabs of stone that have a metal holy symbol of the sun on them. In the middle of the square is a simple circle of pure gold. At dawn, a worshiper would Praise The Sun on the east side, the middle circle at noon, and the west side at dusk.
Praising at Dawn is your way of saying hello to the sun. greeting its glory with a solemn praise. Praising at Noon is your way of thanking the sun for the nourishment it has given on the current day. Praising at Dusk is your way of saying goodbye to the sun, and thanking it for its light.
All may worship the sun, but worship is dominated by warriors and solar knights.
When The Sun is spoken to, it does have sentience and personality. The Sun is a male, and is slightly aloof and hauty. However, the sun is still a gracious soul and will treat the speaker with kindness and respect. The Sun is not an overly kind God, and will not give out free omnipotence and gifts to all those who ask, as it already gives plenty of help to the world.
