The Observer once once a beautiful female angel with beautiful sky blue eyes, whose true name has been erased from the history books by the gods. Originally, her job was to help watch over the material plane, and then report back to the gods about what she saw. Her eyes were born with the ability to observe every point in the material plane at once and were able to see through any magical barriers. But she was vain and arrogant. Instead of using her marvelous eyes to observe the world, she instead focused on observing the beauty of her own face. It all came to a head when she failed to report the reemergence of a powerful demon in the material plane of who the gods had sealed years ago. After observing the Demon's reemergence, she began her way to the gods dwelling, but on her way, she was distracted by her reflection in a pool of water. When the gods figured this out on their own, they resealed the demon, but not before the demon slayed millions of people and destroyed many kingdoms. All of which would have been prevented if she had been paying attention and told the gods about the demon.

The gods were furious and for seven hundred years they tortured her. They showed her the horrors of the universe and beyond, destroying her mind. They threw her in hellfire, burning her once fair skin to a crisp and they slowly tore her bright feathery wings from her back in the most painful way possible. They cut off her arms and replaced them with brass pendulum blades attached to her shoulders by iron hook anchors. They then left her in front of a mirror, to see what she had become. They then carved out her eyes, forging them into a series of magical objects known as All Seeing Eyes, before cutting of her head. To all of the world, she became the prime example of what happened to those who were vain, arrogant and to those who disobeyed the gods.

But they did not kill her. They turned her into their slave. A mindless servant to her masters. She was their executioner. Whenever the gods wanted someone punished and exterminated, they would send her. She would start of by toying with her victim in a way to cause as much psychological pain as possible. Then using her pendulum blades weapons, she would cut up her victims and torture them before eventually ending their life. When hunting her target, she will demonstrate inhuman levels of speed and strength, along with the ability to teleport and exert a type of paralyzing fear. She will relentlessly hunt her victim until they are dead.

She is mainly worshiped by the sick and twisted who revel in the torture of themselves and others.
