The Light Collider (Cantalthis Supplement)
In the beginning, there was no material. Every plane surrounding the material plane was self-sufficient and brimming with arcana. Soon, their arcana leeched into the Aether, the space between the upper and lower realms, and all of it pooled there. These energies collided and coagulated and created Orisodo, the first god. Orisodo was everything, yet they were devoid of a material form. Orisodo used their energy, creating the stars in the astral plane. They sat in thought, residing in the Aether. From their thought sprung Usiu, the first son. He collaborated with Orisodo, returning much of the arcana to their previous realms. Soon, Orisodo got jealous. They wanted to be the only god so when Usiu was asleep, Orisodo struck. Orisodo tried to strangle his son, yet Usiu fought back. In his struggle, Usiu harnessed his arcana into a blade, now known as Semayaza. He killed Orisodo with the blade, spearing him through the heart. In his final breath, he struck Usiu. Orisodo dispersed Usiu's energy across the planes, laying the foundations for life while dying in the process. In his death, he split into ten deities. These were Austere, Eshhek, Briathos, Deldra, Zhen'qi, the twin gods Mihr and Guriel, Vongri, Adonalsium, and Prothea. They formed the material plane, all of its planets, moons, asteroids, and all of its form and shape. They sealed Semayaza into the material plane, forming a planet around it. They then took residence in their preferred domains amongst the planes and let life form with minimal, yet still some, divine influence. However, Mihr and Guriel wanted power. They inherited the avarice of their divine creator and tried to overthrow their siblings in a great battle. They were quickly stopped, deemed evil by their siblings, and sealed into the planet, now called Cantalthis. ^1
^1 After some more excavation, we found an ancient scripture carved on a solid metal tablet that we think is pure Atium. It states this prophecy. "I write these words in metal, for every letter not so cannot be trusted. In an age far from the first, a conqueror will emerge. He will harness the power of the exiled secondborn and will inherit a domain on mortal soil. The only tool to dethrone him will be the killer of Orisodo."
