The Elder Dragon of Crystal (5e Subclass)
From D&D Wiki
The Elder Dragon of Crystal[edit]
Warlock Subclass
Kralkatorrik is the Elder Dragon of Crystal and Fury, among the best-known prior to his awakening due to his daughter Glint, a kindly dragon seer and, up to that point, the only known friendly dragon. When Kralkatorrik awoke, he journeyed south to Glint's lair, and in his wake, he created the Brand, a scar of corrupted land and jagged purple crystals inimical to natural life, which has since been a grave danger to all people nearby, as Kralkatorrik's servants, the Branded, seek to increase their numbers. Upon arrival at Glint's lair, he slew his daughter, as well as the adventurers which sought to protect her, and claimed her lair as his roost, with the Brand steadily spreading from there ever since. His progress further south has been stalled by the lich-king Joko and his legions of undead, which cannot be corrupted into Branded.

Wrath of the Crystal Dragon[edit]
At 1st level, our powers carry an undercurrent of Kralkatorrik’s corruption. Once per turn, when you deal damage to a creature with a spell or weapon attack, you may cause them to take extra lightning damage equal to your proficiency bonus. Anyone who takes this extra lightning damage additionally has their speed reduced by 10ft. as Brand crystals accumulate on their legs. This effect persists until the beginning of your next turn.
Fury of the Crystal Dragon[edit]
At 6th level, the Dragon of Fury grants some of his wrath to his servants. You gain advantage on saving throw against being frightened or charmed. If you make a successful save against an effect which would have left you frightened or charmed, you gain advantage on your next attack targeting that creature. Additionally, you gain resistance to lightning damage.
Prison of the Crystal Dragon[edit]
At 10th level, you conjure one of Kralkatorrik’s Brand crystals from the sky. As an action, you may select a target within 60ft. That target must make a Strength saving throw against your spell save DC. On a success, they are immune to this effect for 24 hours. On a failure, the target is sealed inside of an opaque purple Brand crystal. Whilst inside, they are immune to all damage except psychic, and may not take any actions, bonus actions, move or speak. The crystal has a number of hit points equal to five times your warlock level, an AC of 12 + your proficiency bonus, immunity to poison and psychic damage, resistance to lightning, piercing and slashing damage, and vulnerable to thunder damage. Once you use this feature, you must finish a long rest to use it again.
Final Transformation[edit]
Starting at 14th level, none who look upon you now can deny your allegiance to the Dragon of Crystal and Fury. You gain a rocky exterior with purple crystals sprouting from various spots. Your form is artful and graceful, yet hard and wicked, like the Branded who serve alongside you. You have a pair of crackling crystalline wings that grant you a 30ft. flying speed. Additionally you gain the power to call down Brandstorms. You may designate a 40ft. radius area at a point you can see within 120ft. Within this area, purple Brand crystals grow and cause the ground to become difficult terrain. Any creature that begins its turn touching the ground within the Brandstorm takes 4d8 lightning damage. The Brandstorm will persist for one hour or until you consciously end it. You may use this feature once, regaining it on a long rest. Additionally, you gain immunity to lightning damage, resistance to piercing and slashing damage, and vulnerable to thunder damage.
