Description[edit]
The sun is a huge star that is home to a colony of Azer that are bound into service of the god Azzdan and his war on evil creatures from the elemental planes.
Climate[edit]
The climate of the Sun is one of extreme heat. The surface Azzdanspace sun is cooler than most stars which allows for more possibilities to travel there. As one goes deeper in the hotter it gets. near the surface are many floating rock inlands that with the proper protections one could travel to. There is one area the gets constant rainfall from Telmark that would allow someone to live there without any protection from heat/Fire. Average temperature in this zone ranges from 80 to 110 degrees.
Prominent Land Features[edit]
The Azer are building a city that they hope will rival the City of Brass near a large portal to the elemental plane of fire. The portal was created by the Azer and the god Azzdan to only allow good and neutral aligned creature to pass through it. it is located deep within the sun on a red hot mass of iron the size of a small continent. The portal is large enough for a spell jamming ship to pass through it, if it could survive the heat of the sun. The other side of the portal is located in the sea of fire near the Fountains of Creation.
The other land feature of note is a spot on the surface that is cooled by a steady stream of water from Telmark. The rim of the spot are surrounded by high mountains. The Azer have built a trade post here to deal with races that cannot stand the heat of the interior city.
Ports of Call[edit]
City of the AZER The city is a modeled after a volcano. The city is being built in 5 tiers with each level 1 mile higher than the last. The first tier is 50 miles in diameter. The second tier is 40 miles in diameter. The 3rd is 30 miles in diameter. The 4th will be 20 miles in diameter and the 5th will be 10 miles in diameter. In the center of the 5th tier will be a pool of molten lava1 mile in diameter with 4 rivers flowing out of it. The rivers will flow in to a moat 50 ft wide surrounding the city. the moat will empty into the lava ocean the city is near. Currently only the first tier is populated completely. The second tier is populated at 50 percent. The 3rd tier is done in only the most basic way the finishing crews are still working on the 2nd level. The construction crews are currently working on the 4th level.
Waterfall trading post
A spot roughly 300 miles in diameter. Cooled by the waters of Telmark and some strategically placed portals to the plane of ice in the mountains. The trading post is on a large plateau in the mountains it has a large lake that has a dock that can support 2 ships. The valley between the mountains is home to tropical forest that has been stocked with Dinosaurs that are captured in Duskspace and transported back here for safari hunts. The Safari hunts are run by a old human ranger named Dee. Dee has run the safari for the last 200 years and doesn't look a day over 50. She has been known on hunts to talk about the old days traveling the stars and fighting demons.
Resources/Trade[edit]
The Azer craft many wonderful items made from gems and metal. They are always looking for raw materials to complete the city they are building. they have many wonderful items for sale/trade at the tradepost Waterfall.
