Tentomon is a type of beetlelike Digimon which dwells in the forests of a strange digital plane. Far less aggressive than the other monstrous arthropods which call such forests their home, these Digmon are carefree and friendly creatures which can defend themselves with electrical powers. Inquisitive Insect. In some ways a Tentomon resembles a monstrous, vaguely humanoid ladybird slightly smaller than a halfling adult or a human child. Its upper pair of arms end in a pair of hard claws for foraging and defense, while its lower pair ends in dextrous tridactyl hands for manipulating objects and tools. Its elytra have blunted conical spikes in place of spots and conceal a set of functional wings, allowing Tentomon to fly at good speed. Electrifying Offense. While Tentomon are placid and prefer to avoid combat, they can defend themselves in surprising ways. Beyond its tough exoskeleton and sharp foreclaws, the Digimon can vibrate its wings at such a high speed that it produces bolts of static electricity. Such bolts are strong enough to stun even an ogre temporarily, giving a Tentomon time to flee its aggressors. |
