Temporal Twist
2nd-level Truespeak
Casting time: 1 Action
Range: 60ft
Components: V
Duration: Instantaneous
You command time's interaction with a creature.

You grant the target 1 additional turn immediately up on the completion of the Utterance. This effect ends if one of the actions your target uses during this period, or any effects that your target creates during this period, harmfully affects a creature other than itself or an object being worn or carried by someone other than itself.

You may also say this Utterance backwards to cause a target to freeze in place for 1 round. During this time, the target is immune to any damage, spells or effects that target them or the area they are in. (For instance if an earthquake shatters the ground and they are frozen in place, they will remain frozen in the exact position until the end of the effect, causing them to fall into the crevice at the end of the effect. However if you were to strike them with an axe, they will remain exactly the same as they had been at the start of the effect causing there to be no damage.) The target may make a Charisma save at the start of each of its turns to negate this effect.

At Higher Levels. When you speak this Utterance using a spell slot higher than 2nd level, the target gains an additional turn for each spell slot above 2nd level. When this Utterance is spoken in reverse, the target is frozen in time for an additional round for each spell slot above 2nd level.
