Ok Guy. How does this work? :eyes: —ConcealedLightChatmod.png (talk) 06:24, 15 September 2018 (MDT)

This template is merely what {{5e}} used to be. It is less demanding on software, bandwidth, and server than the current version of {{5e}}, and there's no limit to how many times it can be used in a page. If you know what you're doing with it, it should be better for the wiki in the long run than {{5e}} currently is, albeit only to a tiny degree that would be difficult to notice. The only drawback is that it needs correct capitalization—and with how I personally use it that isn't really a drawback.
I considered putting on the label "just use {{5e}}," but I thought that could be perceived as rude, so I left it void. - Guy 06:53, 15 September 2018 (MDT)
Ok, thanks. —ConcealedLightChatmod.png (talk) 07:13, 15 September 2018 (MDT)

I made {{5g}} so it wouldn't be protected from my edits like {{5e}} was, but it's been protected anyway.
When an admin decides to corrupt this template just like {{5e}}, am I to make a third one? - Guy 10:12, 26 March 2023 (MDT)

I viewed this template as matching the criteria of "worthy of protection". The template is now locked under User edits. I didn't realize you weren't an administrator, and I believed the template was in a "finished" state. My apologies. Coaldstone (talk) 11:41, 26 March 2023 (MDT)
Thank you. - Guy 15:02, 26 March 2023 (MDT)
