Saving Throws Dex +4 Slashing Leap. If the tarkatan moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a bladed fist attack on the same turn, that target must succeed on a DC 13 Strength saving throw or take 5 (1d10) slashing damage and be pushed 10 feet away from the tarkatan and be knocked prone. Tarkatan Resilience. If damage reduces the tarkatan to 0 hit points, it must make a Constitution saving throw with a DC of 5 + the damage taken, unless the damage is from a critical hit. On a success, the tarkatan drops to 1 hit point instead. ACTIONSBite. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (2d6 + 2) piercing damage. Bladed Fists. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (3d6 + 2) piercing damage, and the target is grappled (escape DC 13). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the tarkatan can't use its bladed fists on another target. Projectile Blade (Recharge 6). Ranged Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, range 30/120 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (3d6 + 2) piercing damage and the target must make a DC 13 Strength saving throw. On a failed save, a target takes 10 (3d6) piercing damage and is stunned until the end of its next turn. On a successful save, a target takes half as much damage and isn't stunned. BONUS ACTIONSFinish Him! When the tarkatan reduces a creature to 0 hit points with a melee attack on its turn, the tarkatan moves up to half its speed and makes one melee attack. REACTIONSRetaliation (3/Day). When the tarkatan takes damage from a creature that is within 5 feet of it, it can make a melee weapon attack against that creature. |
Tarkatans are denizens of outworld, essentially the products of mad experimentation which aimed to combine man with demon, and succeeded. Tarkatans are bloodthirsty and built for combat, their armies roam throughout outworld slaying all who oppose them or lie in their way. |
