From D&D Wiki
Please feel free to re-nominate it once it meets the QA criteria and when all the major issues brought up in this nomination have been dealt with.
I'm nominating this as per Marasmusine's suggestion on the talk page. I believe this to be playable material that doesn't conflict with core material.--Yanied (talk) 21:37, 4 June 2019 (MDT)
- Oppose For now I don't see this as a particularly quality article. My issues with it are as follows: Physically they are essentially pretty humans with pointy ears and a few spikes; Their history/ society is clearly meant to serve as an addition to the Forgotten Realms history giving specific dates and names contrary to the wiki's recommended method of writing for the generic fantasy setting; More example names could be given as well as splitting off the names into first and last; They boast a ridiculous lifespan (2150) for a race that is meant to sit between dragonborn (80) and elves (750); Finally, the racial traits aren't too unique and I feel a longer range line based breath weapon is more appropriate given they can fly. If these issues are addressed then I could see my vote changing. —ConcealedLight (talk) 05:46, 5 June 2019 (MDT)
- I took your criticisms into account with recent edits. I'm not too sure about the change in draconic tradition's claws, since the wording was from tabaxi. The lore has been adjusted to be a mite more general and names have been added. I'm not sure about making it unique in playability or traits... I only nominated it because of what I gleaned from the suggestion. ^^;--Yanied (talk) 16:26, 5 June 2019 (MDT)
- Yup good job as usual Yanied. I'll see what I can do about the traits. —ConcealedLight (talk) 05:12, 6 June 2019 (MDT)

- Comment I really like the fluff and lore. I think there is a sense of being able to get into what they are easily. The breath weapon is currently untyped damage. I am in the same boat as CL that the traits just don't feel new pardon the draconic subrace strike. I am leery of 1st level at will spells still and haven't taken time to google others' playtest with this. I do not take issue with writing/creating things for specific campaigns, if it is an official campaign (there are other sites actively looking for this kind of material). ~ BigShotFancyMan 06:44, 3 July 2019 (MDT)
