Talk:Yojimbo (5e Class)
From D&D Wiki
Balance[edit]
- At 1st level, it can make an attack with a greatsword that has an extra +2 bonus to the attack roll, and adds both Strength and Wisdom to the damage roll. You can make a melee attack against every character in a huge mob of 6 or more, and regain hit points while doing so.
- By 3rd level, this class already can break Bounded Accuracy (5e Guideline) by a little bit. 22 AC isn't painfully egregious, and it does require a high Dexterity, but it's worth noting the only SRD class that can get this high without magic items is a 20th level barbarian with 20 Con and 20 Dex. That previous +2 bonus to attack rolls can easily increase to +4 in a boss fight.
- From 5th level onward, this class is just fighter but drastically better at fighting. It gets just as many attacks, but better AC, better saves, and can add its Wisdom modifier to practically every damage roll.
Tl;dr - OP plz nerf. The unique parts about this class would probably fit better as a subclass of fighter, considering how similar its features are to fighter's. - Guy (talk) 21:48, 29 June 2018 (MDT)
