Why they take increased damage from attacks at their tail (was that explained anywhere)? Since it's RAW-possible even if done from forwards (bug?), the most logical explanation is what you're actually hitting their groin (perhaps inadvertently - due to all that fur, it's impossible to say exactly where their tail ends and their "unmentionables" start). 95.71.91.148 14:23, 30 September 2024 (MDT)

It is explained, actually. The Hyrule campaign setting uses setting-specific rules for attacking the weak points of monsters. See Hyrule_(5e_Campaign_Setting)#Called_Shots. 2601:285:4100:14B0:7F41:6307:A2EA:4D56 15:07, 30 September 2024 (MDT)
I did read rules. What i did meant is - was there explained in lore about what is wrong with Wolfos' tail? While most weak points of monsters seem logical (e.g. eye, belly, magic crystal), Wolfos' tail being vulnerable seems to be a little bit nonsensical (how can it be more vital than, let's say, lungs, heart, brain and spine - default weak points of multicellular life?). 95.71.91.148 05:39, 1 October 2024 (MDT)
