Talk:Winterweiss (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
In abilities you put that it works as a vorpal weapon but systematically it doesn't work for a needle like weapon like a rapier but for weapons like sunshine rose which I believe you also made works because it does slashing damage, for one thing vorpal weapon ignores slashing resistance but Rapier does piercing damage and another thing how do you behead something with piercing damage.
The Frigid Construct ability is extremely overpowered for any and all purposes. The ability to make an exact copy of an enemy with all its abilities is broken beyond compare. Imagine making a copy of the Tarrasque as you fight it. That broken. It either needs to be removed or edited to fit a more balanced state. Such as a CR limit, abilitiy/spell limit, multiple attack limit, etc. From doing test battles with it and working with it, its not meant for any form of battles. -Your Friendly Raging Barbarian
- Balancing edit has been made. I agree with the comments about Frigid Construct, but whoever decided to give this "Vorpal Weapon" did NOT do so with my consent. >:( Clockwerk66 (talk) 14:29, 30 April 2017 (UTC)
I looked this page over a few times, and while there are a couple capitalization issues, I have found none of these "grammatical errors," and certainly no switching between 2nd and 3rd-person when talking about the same subject. The only places it seems to change is when it refers to you (the player) and Winterweiss (the weapon), which is how most of these pages are structured. I see no reason why this is still in the "Incomplete" section. Then again, I'm fairly new here, so I'm not sure the usual standards. --Paladin Of Deneir (talk) 09:15, 28 June 2018 (MDT)
- The weapon just needed some touch ups here and there and for the large part was mostly fine, through thanks for bringing the issues up. On another note, welcome to the wiki and I hope you will enjoy your time here. As always, feel free to edit/fix pages and talk to others about ways pages can be improved as the very goal of the wiki is to collaborate and make fun and usable homebrew content for everyone.--Blobby383b (talk) 09:37, 28 June 2018 (MDT)
