Talk:Wild Magic Storm (5e Environment)

This is a really good idea, but when I first stumbled onto to this I’m like “what?”. I’ll try to improve it and make it what I think the original creator wanted. Please don’t mark this for deletion anymore, and try to add in your own ideas for magical effects. PickleJarPete (Talk) 20:18 Sunday February 17 2019 (CST)

PickleJarPete, in your version of the storm, can any spell that controls the weather control this storm? --Redrum 14:18, 23 February 2019 (MST)
Please elaborate. Do you mean like an effect of the allows PCs to control the storm, or just a spell that can control the storm? PickleJarPete (Talk) 19:10 Tuesday February 26 2019 (CST)
I was thinking a spell. --Redrum 18:30, 27 February 2019 (MST)
How about people who cast the control weather can have partial control over the storm. The effect is still random, but if it targets a random creature or random point they can choose that point as long as they still have concentration on the spell. Turns[edit]

Hey, I just wanted to say, really great edits, and I love what you've done with this page. One thing that I think could be changed though, is your use of the word "turns". Usually the way I've seen that done is by using the minutes/seconds metric because I don't think that "turns" is defined in 5e, and I know we're not supposed to do round counting. Those are just my thoughts anyways. Coaldstone (talk) 10:53, 6 March 2019 (MST)

Yeah, sorry, every time I said “turns” I meant rounds, or a period of 6 seconds. PickleJarPete (Talk) 14:28 Wednesday March 6 2019 (CST)
