To do:

  • Tie each order to one specialty school of magic. Give each order a bonus with that specialty school.
  • Add an order that likes to blast things (Evocation)
  • Add missing order powers
  • More fluff
  • Fill missing chapters (Epic, starting kit etc)

Suggestions[edit]

First, "Order of the Righteous Chastisement" sounds good for Evocation. Second, I'd make a requirement for a non-evil alignment, if not a good alignment, seeing as you restrict evil and necromantic spells. It would make it seem more consistent, in my mind. --Theophenes 00:57, 17 July 2007 (MDT)

I'm too much of an Eberron fan, I guess. In Eberron, corrupted, evil bastards can be anywhere, even the most goody-two-shoes organization. If a White Mage uses evil magics, his spellcasting will be tainted. But if he just commits evil deeds, such as ordering the assassination of a rival, refusing to heal a powerful person unless he is granted favors etc., killing innocents for the greater cause of rooting out evil, he can still be a White Mage. --Mkill 05:29, 17 July 2007 (MDT)

Rating - 2/10[edit]

I give the White Mage a balance rating of 2/10 for the reasons stated above (overpowered relative to sorceror). —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 124.168.193.120 (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts.

Rating[edit]

Power - 5/5 I give this class a 5 out of 5 because this class was really well put together and Mkill obviously worked hard on it --Mightycolin 06:09, 27 August 2009 (MDT)

Wording - 4/5 I give this class a 4 out of 5 because this class was really well put together and Mkill obviously worked hard on it --Mightycolin 06:09, 27 August 2009 (MDT)

Formatting - 4 1/2/5 I give this class a 4 1/2 out of 5 because this class was really well put together and Mkill obviously worked hard on it --Mightycolin 06:09, 27 August 2009 (MDT)

Flavor - 4/5 I give this class a 4 out of 5 because this class was really well put together and Mkill obviously worked hard on it --Mightycolin 06:09, 27 August 2009 (MDT)

Regardless of how good the class actually is, generic, blanket statements such as yours cannot generate a serious rating. -- Jota 06:52, 27 August 2009 (MDT)

Rating 4/5[edit]

Power - 5/5 I give this class a 5 out of 5 because The class seems like what I imagined such a class would be, well balanced and powerful, obviously compared to the sorc class the spell list choice may seem more, but the sorc has so many more spell he can choose intially, the sorc/wiz spell list is huge. --173.245.55.110 11:46, 31 January 2012 (MST) H'taed

Wording - 3/5 I give this class a 3 out of 5 because as you can see, its a doesn't appear to be finished. Various sections need to be detailed out. The author has put in a lot of effort in certain areas and left others blank. Just a little fine tuning with details should be enough. --173.245.55.110 11:46, 31 January 2012 (MST) H'taed

Formatting - 3/5 I give this class a 3 out of 5 because again its incomplete --173.245.55.110 11:46, 31 January 2012 (MST) H'tead

Flavor - 5/5 I give this class a <<<5>>> out of 5 because I like where this class is going, the feel of it, if anything more back story could help, but then too much back story takes away from player's creativity. Perhaps an example of pre-made whitemage would help. --173.245.55.110 11:46, 31 January 2012 (MST) H'taed
