Reduced the damage, since these many properties make this weapon way better than any martial weapon. Being a light weapon, is unreasonable that this weapon has 1d8 damage, since you could use one in each hand for 2d8 damage, attacking with a second one as a bonus action.
1d6 damage would put this on pair with shortswords and scimitars, weapons that have less versatility (since they can't be thrown).
1d4 makes this similar to a dagger, but with the ability of returning after thrown, something that a dagger can't do, and also allow you to choose the damage type between two options.
