Ballance[edit]
How is this class for ballance? Are there any problems? I ran it through the CCS, and it was O.K, though I could do with a second opinion. --Sam Kay 09:19, 10 January 2008 (MST)
- Your sample doesn't match the bonuses given by the class. That is something you should change. I don't have Draconomicon handy, but they made classes for dragons in there and that would be a huge help for balancing. Besides that, I would like to see a CR adjustment of some sort. Does each level add +1 CR? Also, in general, templates don't retroatively change things. So this shouldn't retroactively give skill points and feats but allow the vermin to gain them. But is this a template or a class? I would split this into both. Actually, I would prefer to see the template give an int score of at least 3, bonuses to ability scores, and change the advancement to "by character class". Because spider rangers are cool. --Aarnott 13:32, 10 January 2008 (MST)
- Just a thought- How could a spider benefit from the two-weapon fighting or archery benefits, and what should they gain instead? Oh, yeah, each level is +1 CR; the rules for adding associated classes to monsters say a level is worth 1 CR. This is a class, though I will add a template. Another thing. I have checked looked at the sample, but cannot see how it doesn'y match the bonuses given by the class. Can you tell me what's wrong, please? Thanks for your help. --Sam Kay 08:31, 11 January 2008 (MST)
Balance - 7/10[edit]
This class, although fairly balanced, is very unoriginal. All it is is a rogue-spider mix. I would recommend removing many of the rogue aspects and replacing them with interesting spider-like specific things. For this reason I rate it a 7/10. --Green Dragon 22:23, 27 January 2008 (MST)
- This rating has been nullified with the implementation of the new Rating System. --Green Dragon 14:41, 20 February 2008 (MST)
