Talk:Vampire Lord (5e Creature)

The description flip-flops between stating that vampire lords are made when vampires (presumably not vampire spawn) survive for thousands of years, or whether they have to complete vile rituals, or whether they fight the control of the vampire that sired them and slay them. Is it one of them? Some of them? All of them? None of them? It also states that vampire lords don't look the least bit unusual, yet have wings with massive wingspans. I'd find that a tad unusual. Also, why are they vulnerable to radiant damage? No other variety of vampire has vulnerability to radiant damage, but do take damage from being in sunlight. Also, the page image is huge! SirSprinkles (talk) 20:20, 21 September 2016 (MDT)
Becoming a Vampire Lord can come in any of those ways. It depends on their interests. Most common would be slaying the vampire that sired them. I should make it more clear on that front. As for the not looking unusual, they have the ability to take a humanoid form, so while in that form they look as normal that humanoid form would be. I made the vulnerable to radiant because they don't take damage from sunlight, they just loose many of their abilities. When I chose the image it was the only one that I could find that would suit it justice but another could always be found. Roteton Kin (talk) 21:28, 21 September (CST)
