Balance[edit]

What can we agree on for balancing this? I don't think the specific attunement is grounds for balance issue and it fits thematically with the item description. For me, I'd say removing the AC buff, keep the +1 Con and change regen to 5 hp at the start of their turn.
As for the 3d6 necrotic, I think that damage should be scaled down and have an interest twist that on a failed Wisdom save DC10? the wearer is unaware of the life loss. So I'd word it as they lose 1d6 hit points vs taking damage. semantics? I've made some changes. 1) No-one cares what a monsters maximum hit point value is, except in a few edge cases it's not worth keeping track of. 2) We shouldn't have unchecked hit point recovery. Changing to temporary hit points. Marasmusine (talk) 09:29, 1 March 2019 (MST)
