Talk:Ultimate Barbarian (3.5e Class)
Balance[edit]
I believe that it is commonly acknowledged on the Wizards of the Coast boards that Szatany's ultimate classes are balanced against one another, but not necessarily non-ultimate classes. However, given that combat classes tend to be underpowered at high levels, there's probably not a problem with the balance of this class.
Rating - 8/10: I give this base class an 8/10 because it is a bit more powerful than the barbarian, a low-powered class at high levels. (did I format this correctly? The description is a bit hard to understand) --Khuxan 16:07, 14 January 2007 (MST)
- You did format this correctly. Anyway, he balance has been calculated in. Thanks for rating this, rating things on D&D Wiki really means a lot to D&D Wiki. Thanks. --Green Dragon 22:31, 15 January 2007 (MST)
- This rating has been nullified with the implementation of the new Rating System. --Green Dragon 14:41, 20 February 2008 (MST)
Wikis[edit]
I wish we had known that Szatany was attempting to use a Wiki to host his works. We would have helped. As it is, Szatany has left the gamin scene and left his works to us to maintain as we wish. So, Ian, myself, and several others are maintaining the entire Ultimate series on my wiki. --PhilRezanow 04:18, 30 April 2007 (MDT)
- Thanks for taking the time to post this entire thing here, all that is left to do is add a description and wikify this. However, I do not see the reason to be hosting the same thing on both wiki's, D&D Wiki and yours. So, I would be willing to try something I have not tried before, and I think this idea would be kinda cool. I think it would be interesting to make an inclusion page, like images on this site (they are actually hosted on media.dandwiki.com however they show as if they are from this site), and have the actual class hosted on either of our wiki's. What do you think of this idea? Which wiki would you rather have the class hosted on? --Green Dragon 09:58, 8 May 2007 (MDT)
