I've made a complete rework on this article (it was abandoned before), adding more material to it and giving it an actual purpose. The original content of the article is the trait Regeneration, in the Optional Traits subsection of Invulnerability.
Apart from that, I've removed the needsbalance template, as I think that it no longer applies to the article, due to:
- It having now an actual purpose and several notes explaining the intended usage of the template.
- The article doesn't depend on the DM's view on how each mechanic works anymore. They are still free to use it as a whole, only a part or nothing at all.
I've added some practical uses of the template at the end of the article, in the Ideas section, as short paragraphs representing each concept. Each of them also highlights the specific parts of the template used. I encourage everyone reading this to write their own there.
