Any advise on whether Gaze attacks can effect the viewer? Example: taking a picture of a medusa —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Spendoo (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts.

I would rule that pictures, paintings, ect. wouldn't trigger gaze like abilities as the photos aren't magical and it makes sense for creatures to only be affected by a gaze when they see the medusa/other creatures with gaze-like abilities in the flesh. Ultimately though, how things like this work is up to each DM to decide as there isn't exactly a right or wrong answer.--Blobby383b (talk) 03:23, 21 November 2019 (MST)
