Talk:Traplover (3.5e Flaw)
From D&D Wiki
I know it's a work in progress, but you may want to consider making the save DC non-static. Lets face it, a level 1 fighter with a wisdom of 10 has a 25% chance of succeeding, and that only goes up. Also you may want to specify, if by discover you mean your character was the one who found it, then it's an easy extra feat if you're not the one who even tries to find them, so if that is the case you may want to put some restrictions on it.
Just trying to be helpful.
- I'd consider making the DC 15+CR of the trap. Traps, in the DMG at least, don't go past CR 10. Alternatively, 10+ ECL is a pretty common DC for flaws. I can't recall who said it, but the best flaws are the unavoidable ones. I mean sure, no one wants to set off a trap and hurt their character, but if you don't have to face the penalty, do you really deserve the bonus feat? --Badger 18:28, 13 May 2010 (UTC)
Kender
As soon as I read the name I thought of a curious kender from dragonlance. Couldn't a variant be where thier curiousity makes them activate it just to see what happens. --Milo High-Hill 07:58, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
