I think this weapon would be improved without "and monks may use them as though they possess the 'two-weapon fighting' fighting style." The benefit from +1 AC is already quite powerful for a nonmagical martial melee weapon, and it's a bit wonky to refer to such a specific class feature (which the relevant class, monk, doesn't even have). I have redirected this to Weapon Alternatives (5e Other)#Clubs. The special properties were overpowered (+1 AC with no downside), or pointless (a monk has no use for two-weapon fighting, as they use their bonus action with their martial arts feature, not a regular two-weapon attack).
