Talk:The Shaman (5e Subclass)

Could there be some clarity on what exactly it means by 'does not use 5e tables'...? If it is seriously an issue of 'this table is not used in 5e' (the Totemic Blessing is the only 'table') I don't 100% understand what the problem is, because the page looks neater than 40% of the barely formatted pages I've come across. If it is a 'table' as in does not use whatever arbitrary tables of progression you were comparing it to... 3/6/10/14 is the progression milestones used by Barbarian Paths and there isn't any abilities or features on this page that are not given either at 3/6/10/14 from what I can find. And if it is the changes to staff weapon die - so now subclasseses submitted here can't do anything unique if it does not have the same cookie-cutter format as SRD content?? I don't understand and it really only seems like the most random of things are flagged while other stuff gets ignored and approved on this site. I can't tell if that's because or the reason for this site having terrible infamy among the D&D community though. So please, can you clarify what 'tables' are not formatted correctly?? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.60.20.223 (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts.

5e pages should use 5e-style tables, see Help:Table/Examples for an example of a 5e-style table --Nuke The Earth (talk) 21:22, 26 September 2022 (MDT)
So it was flagged... for cell coloring? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.60.20.223 (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts.
I'm not certain what you mean by 'flagged'. Templates are an important tool for maintaining quality of pages here on the wiki. Consider reading through Help:Improving, Reviewing, and Removing Templates for further information. --Nuke The Earth (talk) 13:25, 27 September 2022 (MDT)
Sorry, I meant 'flagging' as in keeping it from showing up on any of the sections because it's marked with a template. I couldn't see it until I logged in. I understand wanting to have some more quality pages, it just irks me when there are countless pages out there that has somehow managed to not be marked with any sort of template to maintain their quality level (whether it is not using tables at all; not having decent header and labeling; or whatever). Hopefully it is all fixed now, though. --ArcaediusX
Tagged pages are sorted into an 'incomplete' section on their respective category pages to help people sort through pages that are finished and pages that are not. If you see a page with problems worthy of a template, please do mark them with their respective issues. We all need to do our part to keep the wiki clean and high-quality. --Nuke The Earth (talk) 20:21, 27 September 2022 (MDT)
