Talk:Summon Potato (3.5e Spell)

Hm,yeah... should be a level zero spell. Will modify it. This might be the most useless spell ever. So, as a summon dissapears eventually, does this mean even if you eat your summon, it will disappear from your stomach? There could be a philosofical debate brewing... not likely, though. Create food and watter is way better. And might work even if u don´t like potatoes.--TYRWNTS2BUY 13:38, 2 April 2011 (MDT)

I don't want it as a level zero spell because I've seen it used as a spell as powerful as Burning Hands (In my testing). Its not useless, but part of it is a typo I must fix (It supposed to create 5 potatos per spell level, not one per 5 spell levels). Also its not a summoning spell dispite the name, it saids its a creations Spell as its subschool (So it stays their for ever unless acted upon by a exterior force). Also please note one of its Categories "April Fools". (I made this for my new player two days ago (He is completly random) who said he wanted a spell that summoned potato's. I thought "Hey its April Fools day why not"). --Milo High-Hill 15:37, 2 April 2011 (MDT)
It makes more sense than Dire Penguin. Think about it for a minute, and tell me there's some point in making a penguin Dire. Summon Potato at least might have some practical use. Silverkin 18:15, 2 April 2011 (MDT)
Such as Food, Poison, Distraction, making an army quickly (Use Awaken (Now I need to make Awakened Potato Stats)). These are just the primary uses. In the hands of a PC potato's can do a thousand things.--Milo High-Hill 01:29, 3 April 2011 (MDT)
Oh wow. An awakened potato... Great, now we're all going to die at the hands of awakened potatoes. A Potato Apocalypse approaches! I think that a Potato Apocalypse would definitely require a specialized campaign setting. I am not going to fix this problem I've gotten us into here. Silverkin 05:52, 3 April 2011 (MDT)
Get a level 20 druid and he can summon 100 potato's with a level 1 spell. They can then cast Mass Awaken. On a some and get other druids to awaken the others all the while he kepts casting the spell. All this equals an Army in less than an hour.--Milo High-Hill 06:46, 3 April 2011 (MDT)
A great DOOOOM is upon us!!! Silverkin 12:19, 3 April 2011 (MDT)
