Musicus Meter
Score: 7.5
This race has a score of 7.5 according to the Musicus Meter race guidelines. With this metric, first-party races' scores range from 4.5 to 8. This is a guideline, not a rule, and it's important to use your own judgment alongside this scoring.
This scoring may be the groundwork for a focused {{needsbalance}} usage. A contributor to this page may request a detailed breakdown of this page's balance. Without this information, {{needsbalance}} may then be removed. This meter cannot be the sole basis for a needsbalance template, but may be included as an accessory to a wider discussion of a race's balance.
This template should only be placed on a race's talk page. If this template is not placed on the talk page, please move it.

In what universe is race this a 5.5 on that meter?[edit]

The ability score modifiers alone put it at a 5 according to this metric. The lightning legacy thing takes it up to a 6.5, already past the initial rating.

As far as I can tell, this thing should be at an 11 with how overpowered it is. My rating may even be a little low; I put the extra at-will elemental damage with all melee attacks at a 2, but that's just a guess since elemental damage isn't even on the list of scored traits.

Someone (not me) seriously screwed up the balance and made it OP. I'll fix it right away. --OwenLeaf (talk) 07:34, 4 July 2017 (MDT)
After looking through this race I've determined that it is a 7.5 on the meter. The 3rd level spell call lightning bumps up the 1.5 for the innate casting to 2. ConcealedLight (talk) 20:08, 21 December 2017 (MST)

Cool Race![edit]

This is my new favorite race. PS I changed the link to the gust cantrip to a reference because it’s in Xanathar’s Guide To Everything. PickleJarPete (Talk) 11:39 Saturday February 2 2019 (CST)
