Calculating CR

• Hit points: 36 hp (CR 1/4)
• AC is 15 This is a difference of 2 from the expected AC. We adjust the DCR up by (2÷2) = 1 (CR 1)
• Defensive Challenge Rating: (CR 1 1/4)
• Best average damage for one round is 4 (shortsword or spear attacks). (4 + 4 + 4) ÷ 3 = (12). This gives us an OCR of 1 and an expected attack bonus of +2.
• The actual attack bonus is +3, so we adjust the OCR up by (3÷2) = 1 1/2.
