Talk:Splitleaf Greatsword (5e Equipment)

The "special technique" isn't inherent to the weapon. It could be any number of other things: a feat, a fighting style, a reward, or the result of training downtime. Marasmusine (talk) 15:01, 4 May 2017 (UTC)
Also, it reads that you need 18 Strength (and ability score prerequisites should be odd-numbered...) to wield it two-handed, but not to wield it one-handed? Marasmusine (talk) 15:03, 4 May 2017 (UTC)
- I fixed the ability score prerequisites. That was a dumb mistake on my part, I just messed up where I should've put that. It's also good to know those should be odd-numbered—I didn't know that. I left the "special technique" however, not because I'm blatantly ignoring you but because I'm trying to find out what to do with it. I'm thinking it'd be best to make it a feat that could work with weapons that have the reach property, although it'd have to exclude the lance and whip simply because it doesn't make sense for what they are. Any recommendations for what I should do to solve the issue? I would like to keep the technique though, so preferably nothing like "get rid of it," haha. -Hobogre (talk) 16:27, 4 May 2017 (UTC)
