This thing sounds kind of magical, since it unerringly returns to the wielder and can hit an opponent multiple times. Also, there's a DC given for catching, but it doesn't say what sort of check it is (I'm guessing reflex), nor does it say the penalty for failing. JazzMan 01:52, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

I'd imagine that you'd deal damage to yourself if you fail, since you have two blades flying at your face. 69.247.138.127 15:18, 6 July 2010 (UTC)

There is no weapon I can think of that isn't possessed that "attempts" to do much of anything - although this thing reminds me of the "hawk hatchets" in Earthdawn, a bladed weapon should not hit and then come back. You can use the semi-logic in D&D that you can ricochet a boomerang off a monster's head or something, and you can do that silly Xena chakram attack with another weapon (I forget which) with a Feat - but things with blades ought not to come back once they connect, especially if it results in a weapon that can potentially double-critical on a single attack.
