A spiracette is a throwing weapon that has 2 curved blades, much like a kama's blades, facing the opposite directions. The spiracette, unusually, is aerodynamic and can be thrown. The weapon, if hits, deals damage, then circles back to the thrower, who must make a roll against DC 10 to catch it. The spiracette, on a successful critical, hits the opponent, then attempts to circle around to strike him again, dealing damage again. The DM secretly rolls the d20 die twice for a result. If both rolls are successful, the spiracette circles, and deals damage 2 more times, after which it returns back to its owner.
- An opponent may use the Deflect Arrows or Snatch Arrows feats on a spiracette. However, the DC for doing so is 30.
- If the thrower misses catching the spiracette, it lands 1d4 squares behind him.
- The owner may throw 2 spiracettes at the same time without penalty, but the DC for catching them is 20.
