Talk:Spider Monster (5e Race)
From D&D Wiki
I don't see why this race should be deleted. It only shares two features with the spider folk race
Perhaps this was me misinterpreting what this race is meant to be. In any case, I have clearly made a mistake here as I flagged it for deletion thinking it had been left as is for over a year. If you're interested in fleshing this race out further I think it deserves to stay, though I could also see Spider Monster and Spiderfolk merging and having the differences in features accommodated as subraces of an overarching Spider race. --Supersaix (talk) 19:56, 1 May 2017 (UTC)
honestly I just wanted to make a race based on a undertale character like the font skeleton race. I just put what I felt would fit with the character's race without being too overpowered. I avoided adding dark vision and grapple advantage on account of the multiple arms because i thought they would make the race too overpowered. i can understand why you might think the race was abandoned, i am not too good at the descriptions so i made that note in case someone else wanted to do it better. If you have any ideas on improving the race, i am open to suggestions -sirquack9 May 1 2017 6:12 pm CDT
I believe generally it is best practice to ask for suggestions/help in the discussions page rather than directly in the page's content for future reference.
I have made some general edits to the race (although I am unfamiliar with undertale) and have removed the incomplete flag, though in the spirit of wikis, of course welcome you to change anything I've added that you might disagree with.

That is good to know for future reference. This was the first page I made. Thank you, the improvements are very good. I appreciate how reasonable you are. -sirquack may 1 2017 9:34 pm CDT
