Talk:Shroedinger's Bag (3.5e Equipment)

Balance[edit]
How this stands it is overpowered, even though it is a artifact... Lets say I think "Swords", and I get swords. All I need to do is sell swords, possibly magical swords. So, to make this better, I say make the item "Disappear" after an hour since the item was withdrawn. Other than that this is a good idea, and I like it. --Green Dragon 22:36, 22 January 2007 (MST)
- Wow, I've been really pampered by my RPing group, we never even thought of that. Changed to 1 hour duration for summoned items.--Cypresslyshra 22:41, 22 January 2007 (MST)
- Looks better now... This item is a well made artifact (even though the tricky people could take an item out, sell it, then have it disappear when the shopkeeper puts it up for sale, however the guards would be alerted soon, and the scammer would be caught quickly...). --Green Dragon 23:03, 22 January 2007 (MST)
- Or the DM could just say "You pull out Schroedinger's cat. This time, it's a cat demon, and it's hungry." I love vauge items like this.--Cypresslyshra 23:10, 22 January 2007 (MST)
- Ah.... Once again an item that comes down to the DMs final say... --Green Dragon 23:20, 22 January 2007 (MST)
- Indeed. It'd be overpowered otherwise. Besides, the bag has the ability to break the game if left to it's own devices. But you're right, they will stop buying stuff from the character if it keeps vanishing.--Cypresslyshra 23:23, 22 January 2007 (MST)
