At first glance, this seems more powerful than the other wizard archetypes. There's some degree of action economy abuse provided for between getting extra spell power and shutting down opponent's spell power. Seems like a wizard with this archetype would completely crush any full caster that dares cast a spell anywhere near them.--GoodDalek (talk) 03:28, 19 January 2015 (MST)

I've changed Braid Spell so that it can only be used once between short rests, also it doesn't mess with spell slot levels. I will look at counter spell at some point. Marasmusine (talk) 03:27, 10 April 2015 (MDT)
Maybe change of phrasing to clarify the dispel and counter part? Change from 'when you successfully counter or dispel a spell' to 'when you successfully cast the spells Counterspell (page 228 PHB) and Dispel Magic (page 234 PHB) against a spell'
This could help maintain clarity and also give a reference point to what the successful part refers to?--Kahz (talk) 00:50, 1 May 2015 (MDT)
