Talk:Sage Powers (4e Power List)
From D&D Wiki
Here's a tip then. If you change the "owner" field to "Paragon Class" it won't print the breadcrumb, which should make a better layout for the PDF. Marasmusine (talk) 23:49, 16 May 2013 (MDT) Oh, I just saw that now. Thanks! Arshan272 Umm . . . Where exactly is the Owner field? I can't seem to find it anywhere other than in racial powers. - Yeah, it's missing. I've added it to the at-wills for you. If you are interested in presenting all the levelled powers and features on one page, take a look at the formatting I've used at Smilodon Maioribus (4e Elite Character)#Heroic Smilodon Maioribus. I've tried to emulate the formatting of the classes in the Essentials books, you might like to do something similar. Marasmusine (talk) 12:55, 20 June 2013 (MDT)
The powers certainly need better balancing. There's a level 3 encounter power that does 1d4+Wis mod damage and ongoing fire equal to Chr mod (save ends) to one creature, and another level three that deals 2d6 plus Wis mod Necrotic damage and also DAZES the target. Further, the second power doesn't indicate the number of targets it hits, but I'm presuming it's meant for only one target since it's strictly better than the first, even assuming that. Oh, also, an At-Will that Dazes!
How is this class a striker instead of a controller? Where does all this supposed damage come from?
70% of these powers are reflavours from official existing classes of equal hit point class, and ALL of the At-Will powers are.
That doesn't answer the questions. Strikers have some kind of mechanic to do extra attacks or more damage with each attack, and this class lacks it. If it's primary job is to deal damage, where does the damage come from? How does it deal striker level damage?
