Is the 12 cubic feet thing a typo, or is this safe the size of one of those cartoony bank safes commonly seen in video games?

If so, shouldn't this be just a tad bit more than 75 gp?

Let’s say Mr. Rich the Dwarf Artistocrat decides to fill the bank with 12 cubic feet of nothing but steel from the dwarven mines and forges his brother owns. Assuming the bank isn’t going to turn into an anvil heading straight to the other side of the Earth, that’s 800 thousand pounds.
