Talk:Ritual Sacrifice (5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
I am completely new to making 5e feats. Any sort of feedback will be appreciated! Quincy (talk) 22:36, 18 August 2018 (MDT)
If it's alright with the OP, I feel like this might be better off as a feat that allows you to buff the effects of ritual spells you cast by sacrificing a creature during the ritual casting, something like this:
***Ritual Sacrifice*** **Prerequisites.** Must be able to cast spells as Rituals. You are a learned practitioner of the controversial tradition of ritual sacrifice. Properly performing a ritual sacrifice requires a living creature that is incapacitated, willing, or helpless, as well as 1 extra minute of uninterrupted concentration added to the casting time. Once the spell is cast you may choose of the following effects: * If the spell has a numeric duration, you may increase the duration by a number equal to half of the sacrifice's number of Hit Dice rounded down (minimum 1) * If the spell has a numeric range, you may increase the range by a number equal to half of the sacrifice's number of Hit Dice rounded down (minimum 1) * If the spell has a numeric effect, you may increase one of the effects by a number equal to half of the sacrifice's number of Hit Dice rounded down (minimum 1)
How does that sound? --TheStoryEnthusiast (talk) 12:11, 27 November 2018 (MST)
