Cornered Beast[edit]
Is it just me, or does Cornered Beast seem overpowered? For a rogue in particular, it could be so useful that it's worth keeping your hit points below half all the time. You would get a Sneak Attack on every attack, after all—and with its +2 Dex and Darkvision, this race already makes for a pretty strong rogue otherwise. - Guy (talk) 11:02, 16 May 2018 (MDT)
- Yeah, I agree with that. The trait thematically neat but mechanically flawed. What do you think about "When your hit points are less than half your hit point maximum, and you do not have a conscious ally within 30 feet, you deal additional damage on your first attack roll each turn equal to your proficiency bonus." as a compromise? Or perhaps we should be aiming for something less tedious... --ConcealedLight (talk) 14:10, 16 May 2018 (MDT)
