Talk:Primitive Warrior (5e Class)

Balance[edit]
At 11th level, a human character of this class starting with the standard array would easily have ability scores of about 26 Strength, 19 Dexterity, and 18 Constitution. It would have a game-breaking AC of 26. It could make three attacks per turn, which, if we're assuming a greataxe and rage, would yield an average per-turn damage of 72. Consider that an optimized fighter at this level will have about half that damage output, except for the one turn a day it uses Action Surge to become almost equal to this class in damage output—but still inferior to it in hit points, AC, movement, damage resistances, saves, etc. That's only scraping the surface of how overpowered this class currently is. It literally has advantage on initiative checks twice over.
If this class was trying to achieve something other than being overpowered, it should be rebuilt from the ground up. - Guy (talk) 08:41, 23 June 2018 (MDT)
