Talk:Nyan's Light Speed Dash (5e Spell)
From D&D Wiki
Basic proof-of-concept for a light speed dash spell. Might be too ridiculous to even consider, although I'm wondering if it'd fit better as a 1 turn spell rather than concentration for 1 minute. --Supersmily5 (talk) 18:46, 8 March 2020 (MDT)
Fun fact, the info blurb at the bottom is actually incorrect. 160 million feet (approx. 30.3k miles) in a turn is only enough to circumnavigate the globe approximately 1.21 times, which while still undeniably fast is not quite lightspeed. In fact, it's only 0.0271% of lightspeed. --Nuke The Earth (talk) 02:53, 17 February 2021 (MST)
- Wait. It's supposed to be correct math. I don't remember how I calculated it but if it's wrong, let's see... Ah. I think I figured out what went wrong. I did my conversions through google, which won't directly convert km/s to feet/s. I'll fix it, buuuut the spell itself is still janky. Doesn't fix that. Thank you though! --Supersmily5 (talk) 09:59, 17 February 2021 (MST)
