Talk:Nomad (5e Race)
From D&D Wiki
Some wording dinks, going off the traits alone.
- This is notably more powerful than the other races because of the typing plus the inherent bonuses variant Large rules come with.
- The armor bit I think could be more clear that you cannot wear any non-tailored armor. Probably something like "Due to your unique body and size, you cannot wear armor unless it has been specially tailored to your needs. This armor takes X times longer to make and costs Y times more than usual."
- Chameleonic skin is like that awful true strike but it works I think. BUT it needs to specify duration (and should probably only be the next roll really). The options are:
- As an action, you can change the color of your skin to match your environment, giving you advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) rolls for 1 minute. You must finish a short or long rest to use this feature again.
- As an action, you can change the color of your skin to match your environment, giving you advantage on your next Dexterity (Stealth) roll. This effect lasts for 1 round.
Or something like that. Overall, it's solid I think.--Yanied (talk) 08:52, 8 July 2021 (MDT)
