Balance Concerns[edit]
The concerns listed for this page are as follows:
"Wow, from 11th level onwards this character can - with the help of a spellcaster with stunning and dazing spells - routinely instakill creatures)"
At 11th level, a wizard has access to level 6 spells and lower. These spells include things like Eyebite, Sleep, Endless Slumber(CM), Heartfreeze(Fr), Hold Person, and much, much more. Most of these effects either make someone helpless, or force them to make a save or die. Per Coup de Grace rules, the target is allowed a save to resist dying. The example given in this balance concern seems to assume that a spellcaster can not already make it so that things get instakilled routinely; That is not correct.
Honestly, you need not look much further than the infamous Spells that Fvcking Kill People to see what spells are extremely overpowered at any given level. The balance concern seems to indicate that a martial combatant having this feat is a balance concern, when the truth of the matter is that having a spell-caster involved, at all, is when you begin experiencing balance issues.
Compared to similar abilities performed by other classes at this level (11th and above), this does not appear to be unbalanced. --Jwguy (talk) 16:26, 12 February 2016 (MST)
