Talk:Mirage (5e Race)

  • 2 proficiencies is enough. But then you add in unbridled advantage
  • 2 cantrips (m. illusion, m. hand) both buffed. The mage hand one is particularly broken with summoning more limbs at higher levels, with higher scaling than official race ranges. As it is, 2 buffed cantrips is already quite strong for a race
  • Multi-Eye grants flat bonuses to perception checks, which is not a thing in 5e. This also adds a huge bonus, not even just a +1. At most, this should be proficiency in perception or something more toned down.
  • An additional illusion is entirely unnecessary when you already gave them a cantrip. It also doesn't use normal recharge. If anything, this can at most be an add-on to the buffed minor illusion
  • Static image is yet another illusion. This time though it gives you the pokemon move substitute! This screws with reaction from a low level with a lot of usage. Also, this whole "teleporting" thing is ridiculous.
  • You are allowing a 1st level person to just cast a 5th level spell, huh?
