Talk:Leonardo's Everflowing Chalice of Missiles (5e Spell)

Cool idea on a classic spell. How big is the pool? 60' instead of 90' (again the range on your spells is really high) remove 2 missile cap per target, and I would make it an action to summon 2 extra missiles. BigShotFancyMan (talk) 08:00, 18 December 2017 (MST)

Thank you for the edits, but I am going to change it back (except for the range - I've left this as amended). It was originally based on the flaming sphere spell that deals damage every turn and lets you use a bonus action to hit someone with it for extra damage. As it stands at the moment, there is no reason to cast this over a cantrip, it's one level higher than flaming sphere AND deals less damage. It should deal standing damage every turn like flaming sphere and let you use your bonus action to "hit someone with the sphere", i.e. summon more missiles. The limit on two per target is there to ensure the damage remains fair but can't be abused to burn down one target.
