Talk:Kaiton (5e Race)

Regarding the balance of the Kaiton Paragon, it’s supposed to be overpowered, that’s the point, it only exists for a day, after which, it explodes, killing said Kaiton, even then, it cannot be picked as a starting character, expending a ludicrous amount of resources and resting at a Kaito camp is the only way to become one. It’s designed for final fights, and the only race that can become one is a Level 20 Kaiton Oracle Artificer, which is hard to get to. --Kanon (talk) 14:52, 30 June 2020 (MDT)

That flies in the face of how races and subraces work in 5e. No race requires you to be a certain class or level like that. I don't know what I would classify this as, but not a subrace. Maybe a siege engine? --PJammaz (talk) 15:28, 30 June 2020 (MDT)
I suppose so. It was intentionally just a fun gimmick based off of the Kaiton’s (limited) race changed ability, but you may be right when it comes to it being better as a siege engine, so I’ll see what I can do. --Kanon (talk) 17:19, 30 June 2020 (MDT)
