I think a good idea for the feature woud be something along the lines of fast learner

Almost complete.[edit]
I feel like this article is very near completion. Backgrounds are very easy to create because of the simple and easy to understand rules. The background needs a special feature and perhaps the 10 days of rations should be pulled back to more like 5, but otherwise this background is looking pretty good. This is a really cool background and a feel like it would be an excellent addition to the list of homebrew backgrounds on this site.
